October 13, 2026 8:31 AM

Powerus Corporation (Nasdaq: PUSA) unveiled its Guardian-3 counter-drone interceptor at the Association of the United States Army's 2026 Annual Meeting and Exposition, held October 12 to 14 in Washington, D.C.

The Guardian-3 is the third generation of the company's Guardian interceptor family. According to a press release, the previous generation, Guardian-2, introduced semi-autonomous operation, while Guardian-3 is designed for fully autonomous operation. Powerus said it will release additional technical details, including availability, at a later date.

"Every generation of Guardian has taken more of the load off the operator. Guardian-3 is the next step, and we're glad to show people where it's headed," said Brett Velicovich, co-founder and president of Powerus.

Powerus, based in Rock Hill, S.C., describes itself as a defense technology company focused on autonomous and unmanned systems. On October 1, 2026, the company completed a merger with Autonomous Power Corporation, formerly operating as Aureus Greenway Holdings Inc. Shares continue to trade on Nasdaq under the ticker PUSA.

The company noted that Guardian-3 remains in development and that its design may change. The product may not achieve its anticipated capabilities or be produced on the anticipated timeline, the company cautioned in forward-looking disclosures.
