IceCure Medical presents breast cryoablation data at EUSOBI meeting
IceCure Medical Ltd. (Nasdaq: ICCM) announced that its ProSense® breast cancer cryoablation system was featured in scientific presentations, research posters, and physician workshops at the European Society of Breast Imaging (EUSOBI) Annual Scientific Meeting 2026, held in Maastricht, the Netherlands.
Presentations at the meeting included 12-month clinical data showing objective response rates of 97.5% among 40 patients treated with cryoablation combined with endocrine therapy, and 91.7% among 24 patients treated with cryoablation alone.
Dr. Lucía Graña-López of Spain and Dr. Francesca Pugliese of Italy presented findings related to cryoablation during two scientific sessions. Dr. Pugliese's presentation focused on local tumor control in elderly breast cancer patients ineligible for surgery, examining outcomes from cryoablation alone or combined with hormonal therapy.

IceCure Medical hosted two clinical workshops led by Dr. Graña-López and Dr. Federica Di Naro of Florence, Italy. Each workshop attracted nearly 70 participants. Two scientific posters were also presented by ProSense® users, including research from Romania on single-center outcomes of percutaneous cryoablation for breast lesions.
According to a statement from the company, ProSense® is the first medical device cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for the local treatment of breast cancer in patients aged 70 and older with biologically low-risk tumors of 1.5 cm or smaller, treated with adjuvant endocrine therapy, including patients ineligible for surgery.
IceCure Medical develops liquid-nitrogen-based cryoablation systems for the destruction of benign and cancerous tumors. The company markets its products in the U.S., Europe, and Asia.
