JD.com (JD) Reiterated at Buy by StoneX Amid Soft Consumption Backdrop
StoneX analyst Fawne Jiang reiterated a Buy rating and a price target of $42 on JD.com, Inc (NASDAQ: JD).
The analyst commented, "Despite a soft consumption backdrop, we expect JD to deliver solid execution in 3Q26, with improving category trends and continued earnings recovery. While 3C remains under pressure, we anticipate notable sequential improvement as trade-in headwinds ease. General merchandise (GM) should see a healthy pickup, led by supermarkets, alongside solid growth in fashion, healthcare, and other categories. We remain comfortable with our 3C revenue forecast of -2% y/y and GM growth of +9% y/y and therefore maintain our JD Retail (JDR) revenue growth projection of 3% y/y and group revenue growth of 3.8% y/y, with commission and advertising revenue continuing to outperform direct product sales."
