Bluejay Diagnostics meets Toray manufacturing deadline early
Bluejay Diagnostics, Inc. (NASDAQ: BJDX) announced it has completed the establishment of a manufacturing site for its Symphony™ cartridges, fulfilling a contractual obligation under its amended license agreement with Toray Industries, Inc. ahead of the October 23, 2026 deadline.
The company has formally notified Toray that it has substantially completed the manufacturing site requirement. The manufacturing infrastructure relies on two facilities: SanyoSeiko Co., Ltd. in Japan, which serves as the site established under the Toray agreement, and ALURIS Sciences, formerly known as Argonaut Manufacturing Services, in the United States.
"Our manufacturing strategy is designed to extend beyond a single facility or geography," said Neil Dey, President and Chief Executive Officer of Bluejay Diagnostics. "With the establishment of our manufacturing capability at SanyoSeiko and our strategic U.S. manufacturing relationship with ALURIS, we are working to build complementary manufacturing pathways that can provide greater flexibility, redundancy and supply-chain resilience."

Bluejay stated the dual-site approach is intended to reduce reliance on a single manufacturing pathway. The company is also continuing manufacturing scale-up activities alongside its regulatory program for the Symphony™ IL-6 Test, its first product candidate.
The Symphony™ IL-6 Test has not been cleared or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and is not available for commercial clinical use in the United States. The device is limited by U.S. law to investigational use.
