Piper Sandler on Ollie's Bargain Outlet (OLLI): 'Comp Improvement + Depressed Valuation = Solid Bounce-back Candidate'

October 12, 2026 9:17 AM

Piper Sandler analyst Peter J. Keith reiterated an Overweight rating and $100.00 price target on Ollie's Bargain Outlet (NASDAQ: OLLI).

The analyst commented: "Comp Improvement + Depressed Valuation = Solid Bounce-back Candidate; OLLI continues to look like a solid bounce-back candidate. Certainly, YTD has been tougher than expected with shares -23% for 2026, as 1H comp ran at average of flat and valuation pushed down to an all-time low of ~14x (despite OLLI remaining one of very few publicly traded retailers with double-digit % store growth), as Q2 comp went negative on the toughest compare in years. However, our ongoing pricing analysis suggests no structural headwinds with OLLI maintaining a -40% price gap to WMT and AMZN. Additionally, Q3 QTD Placer traffic data suggests the Q3 comp trend is running in-line or better than Q3 comp guide of flat. And, while a flattish YTD comp trend raises investor questions, we can see a clear drop-off in store traffic once gas prices stepped higher in March. All in, OLLI sets up well for both modest upside to guidance and valuation expansion."
