Xpeng Inc. (NYSE: XPEV) launched its G9L SUV for the European market at the 2026 Paris Motor Show, with French pricing starting at €74,990.

The G9L is available in six- and seven-seat configurations and offers up to 591 km of WLTP range. The vehicle uses 800V architecture with 5C charging technology, enabling a 10% to 80% charge in as little as 11.7 minutes. Standard safety features include nine airbags and automatic emergency braking at speeds up to 150 km/h. The company said the vehicle underwent three years of testing across 26 countries and regions, covering more than 6.74 million kilometers.

The G9L is set to become the fourth Xpeng model manufactured in Europe, following a production trial at Magna's facility in Graz, Austria. Local production with Magna began in Q3 2025.

Xpeng also introduced its Next Generation Pilot (NGP) driver assistance system, powered by VLA 2.0, to European roads for the first time. The system uses proprietary Turing AI chips and can retain up to 30 seconds of contextual information while predicting road scenarios up to six seconds ahead. At the Paris Motor Show, NGP was featured in the official Autonomous Lab alongside Tesla, with Xpeng stating it was one of only two automakers participating in that showcase.

The company said it aims to become the first certified automaker to meet UNECE UN Regulation No. 171, Series 02, which would support the global expansion of its advanced driving software.

Xpeng's Paris Motor Show stand spans 1,008 square meters and includes 11 vehicles, two IRON humanoid robots and one Land Aircraft Carrier. The company said its IRON humanoid robot is planned for global rollout in 2027.

Xpeng currently operates across 82 countries and regions, supported by eight R&D centers, six manufacturing bases and 1,283 stores globally.
