Webull denies material cybersecurity incident involving customer data
Webull Corp issued a statement responding to a House Select Committee report, saying it has not experienced a material cybersecurity incident involving customer data, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing.
The company stated that access to sensitive U.S. customer information is controlled by supervisors located in the United States, and that employees in China have no access to it. Webull also said no person in China has authority or system access to move or direct customer funds.
Webull noted that neither the SEC nor the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority has brought an enforcement action against the company relating to customer data protection or privacy.

The company said the House Select Committee report does not change how it operates.
