H.C. Wainwright Reiterates Buy Rating on Gevo, Inc. (GEVO)
H.C. Wainwright analyst Amit Dayal reiterated a Buy rating and $14.00 price target on Gevo, Inc. (NASDAQ: GEVO).
The analyst commented: "On October 8, Gevo sold 10,000 CO₂-removal credits through ClimeFi to a corporate buyer, demonstrating commercial monetization of carbon captured and permanently stored at Gevo North Dakota (GND). Earlier, Gevo had announced contracted sales of $70M worth of 2026 Section 45Z tax credits; the company has already received more than $30M in cash through September 30, 2026, and expects the remaining cash over the following six months. Management expects GND de-bottlenecking, already underway, to generate an additional $7-10M worth of credits in 2027, with targeted annual production capacity of 75M gallons by year-end 2026. A significant operational milestone was announced on September 14, 2026, with Gevo North Dakota’s CO₂ degassing system entered commissioning several weeks ahead of plan, following the August commissioning of a steam turbine; the remaining liquefaction and fermentation upgrades are expected to be operational by December 2026. Internationally, Gevo is commercializing its renewable isobutanol (Bio-IBA) technology in India, having granted Praj exclusive rights, with an initial emphasis on diesel blending and combining Gevo’s technology with Praj’s engineering and market-development capabilities. Praj is also establishing a demonstration plant for an Indian oil marketing company (OMC) using Gevo’s licensed technology. Reiterate Buy rating and $14 PT."
