8x8, Inc. (NASDAQ: EGHT) has appointed Jamie Snaddon as Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer and named Nerea Gandarias as Managing Director for EMEA, according to a company statement. Both appointments are effective immediately.

Snaddon, who previously served as Managing Director of EMEA, will report to Chief Executive Officer Samuel Wilson in the newly created role. He will work with Wilson and the executive leadership team to evaluate growth opportunities and prioritize initiatives across the business. Snaddon has been with 8x8 for more than a decade, earlier leading the company's European legal team before moving into the EMEA leadership role.

"Jamie has proven he can turn strategy into results," said Wilson. "As communications and AI reshape our industry, Jamie will work with me and our leadership team to see where 8x8 is best positioned to win, and help translate our strategy into growth and long-term value creation."

Gandarias succeeds Snaddon in the EMEA role, bringing experience from her previous positions at 8x8 as Global Vice President of Field and Channel Marketing and UK Country Lead. Before joining 8x8, she spent 13 years at SS&C Advent.

"Nerea knows our business, our customers, and our partners, and brings deep go-to-market experience to the role," Wilson said.
