Broadridge DLR hits $7.5 trillion in repo volume for September
Broadridge Financial Solutions (NYSE: BR) reported that its Distributed Ledger Repo (DLR) platform processed $7.5 trillion in repo transactions during September, with an average daily volume (ADV) of $359 billion, according to a company statement.
The figures reflect activity on DLR, which Broadridge describes as an institutional platform for settling tokenized real assets using distributed ledger technology.
Broadridge also announced the launch of DLX, a tokenization and digital asset infrastructure platform that extends capabilities beyond repo into issuance, trading, settlement, servicing, custody, governance, and distribution. DLX uses a modular, multi-chain architecture intended to connect traditional and on-chain financial activity.

"DLR has demonstrated that tokenized market infrastructure can operate at the scale and consistency required for core institutional activity," said Horacio Barakat, Global Head of Digital Innovation at Broadridge. "That real-world foundation is allowing us to take the next step with DLX, extending the infrastructure and operating experience we've built in repo to a broader range of assets and workflows."
Broadridge stated that its platforms process more than 8 billion communications annually and underpin daily trading of over $18 trillion in tokenized and traditional securities globally. The company is a component of the S&P 500 Index and employs approximately 16,000 people across 28 countries.
