MicroVision reaffirms 2026 revenue guidance, projects double in 2027

MicroVision, Inc. (NASDAQ: MVIS) reaffirmed its full-year 2026 revenue guidance of $10 million to $15 million and projected revenue to double in 2027, according to a company statement released October 7, 2026.

The Redmond, Washington-based lidar technology company said its commercial activity spans industrial, security and defense, robotics, aerial applications, AI data centers, and intelligent infrastructure markets. Recent activity includes opportunities with Robinson Unmanned, photonics applications supporting AI data center deployments, IRIS sensor deployments for autonomous ground vehicle defense applications, and an autonomous mobility service pilot in the Asia-Pacific region.

The company said it expects meaningful cost savings and a significant reduction in cash burn in 2027 compared with 2026, citing operating consolidation efforts including the transition from a West Coast office footprint to a consolidated U.S. manufacturing facility in Orlando, Florida. MicroVision said the Orlando facility and existing inventory can support anticipated 2027 growth without requiring significant additional capital expenditures.

Chief Executive Officer Glen DeVos said the company has shifted from a concentrated lidar business toward a diversified sensing and perception technology company. "We expanded and refined the portfolio, established clear priority markets, and built a strategy around where our technology can solve real customer problems and generate revenue," DeVos said.

Chief Financial Officer Christine Chambers said capital allocation is being measured against commercialization potential. "We are investing where we see the greatest potential to drive revenue while maintaining discipline everywhere else," Chambers said.

MicroVision said it is also evaluating opportunities to strengthen its balance sheet, including its debt structure, lease obligations, and potential monetization of non-core assets.

The company said it plans to provide additional detail on third-quarter 2026 performance and commercial progress during its upcoming Q3 2026 earnings call.
