October 7, 2026 8:56 AM

Investing.com -- Stifel has identified leading opportunities in the Analog and Edge AI semiconductor space, highlighting companies with differentiated solutions in the high-end analog market and those positioned to benefit from the growing Edge AI trend across multiple end markets including medical and industrial applications.

The firm’s analysis focuses on companies with strong competitive positioning in analog semiconductors and exposure to Edge AI, a segment expected to gain increasing attention throughout the year.

Analog Devices and Texas Instruments

Stifel names both Analog Devices and Texas Instruments among top picks in the sector, citing their leverage toward the high end of the analog industry with differentiated solutions. The broker views both companies as well-positioned in the premium analog semiconductor market, supported by their established presence in analog semiconductors.

Ambiq

Stifel raised its price target on AMBQ to $85 from $75 while maintaining a Buy rating. The broker highlighted several key factors supporting the rating, including Ambiq’s foundational SPOT platform technology that enables higher compute performance at a given power level compared to existing transistor technologies.

Stifel noted that Ambiq is positioned to capitalize on the rapidly-emerging Edge AI semiconductor solutions opportunity by addressing energy-efficient compute performance. The company is executing well on its transition toward higher-margin non-China applications, with China expected to represent 14% of second-quarter 2026 revenue.

The firm expects strong double-digit revenue growth in 2026, with non-GAAP gross margin improving from 31.5% in 2024 to 45.0% in 2025. The forthcoming launch of its next-generation AI-focused Atomiq product platform could further accelerate growth at materially higher margins.
