XREAL has announced pricing for its AURA augmented reality glasses, starting at $1,279 in the United States, with pre-orders now open to customers who previously placed paid reservations.

The device, developed in collaboration with Google and Qualcomm Technologies, pairs optical see-through glasses weighing under 95 grams with a separate tethered compute puck running Android XR. The glasses include hand tracking, a 70-degree field of view, and audio by Bose. The compute puck is available in two configurations: 12GB RAM with 256GB storage at $1,279, or 16GB RAM with 512GB storage at $1,499.

The system runs Google's Android XR platform with Google Play app support and integrates Google Gemini and Qualcomm's Snapdragon Reality Elite processor. The compute puck also functions as a trackpad and can be carried via a pocket clip or lanyard.

"By combining lightweight optical see-through glasses with Android XR, Gemini, and Snapdragon-powered performance, XREAL AURA gives movie-lovers, gamers, sports fans, desktop workers, developers and the enterprise, a new way to experience computing," said Chi Xu, co-founder and CEO of XREAL.

XREAL said general availability orders will open in the coming weeks. Initial shipments are planned for the United States, Canada, Japan, and South Korea, with additional markets expected in 2027. Regional pricing varies: Canadian customers will pay CA$1,829 or CA$2,149, while Japanese pricing starts at ¥229,800 and South Korean pricing starts at ₩1,990,000.

The glasses are available in two frame sizes, M (60–66mm) and L (66–72mm). Customers who reserved the device prior to October 7 were notified by email to complete their purchase. The information is based on a press release issued by XREAL.
