Rockwell Automation adds Fortinet firewall support to SecureOT services
Rockwell Automation, Inc. (NYSE: ROK) announced two additions to its SecureOT industrial cybersecurity suite: Firewall Managed Services with Fortinet and Infrastructure Managed Services, according to a company press release dated Oct. 6, 2026.
The Firewall Managed Services offering extends support to Fortinet FortiGate firewalls, covering 24/7 monitoring, alarm management, firmware updates, rule change management and patching. Rockwell manages the firewalls on the customer's behalf under a single managed service contract.
Infrastructure Managed Services provides monitoring, hardware lifecycle management and operational support for industrial networks, servers, virtualization platforms, firewalls and related operational technology (OT) infrastructure. The service also supports customer-owned infrastructure from vendors including Fortinet, allowing manufacturers to retain existing hardware investments while using Rockwell's management services.

"Manufacturers need cybersecurity solutions that fit their operations, not the other way around," said Aaron White, global capability manager, infrastructure managed services, Rockwell Automation. "Whether they're standardizing on Fortinet firewalls or looking for professional support managing infrastructure they've already deployed, these SecureOT services provide the flexibility and industry experience needed to help secure critical operations and maintain uptime."
Both services are available now as part of the SecureOT solution suite. Rockwell Automation is headquartered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and employs approximately 26,000 people across more than 100 countries.
