CXApp launches Beat, an AI agent for workflow execution
CXApp Inc. (NASDAQ: CXAI) announced the launch of Beat, an AI agent designed to identify pending work items, prepare the next required action, and execute that action within existing business systems upon user approval.
Beat is intended for engineers, developers, product managers, and founders in its initial release. Support for sales and executive workflows is planned for future updates. The product is available now in beta.
According to the company, Beat reads tickets, pull requests, messages, and meeting notes to determine what requires attention and prepares the next step before the user opens it. Actions such as PR reviews and ticket drafts can be prepared automatically, with the user retaining approval before execution.
"The next phase of AI is not another chatbot — it is software that understands what needs to happen next and helps make it happen," said Khurram Sheikh, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of CXApp. "Beat is our expression of that idea. It identifies work that is waiting, prepares the next action and, with human approval, carries it through."

CXApp said Beat extends its existing agentic AI platform beyond workplace experience into workflow execution and enterprise productivity. The company stated it intends to expand the underlying platform to additional teams and enterprise use cases over time.
CXApp will demonstrate Beat at SF Tech Week on October 6 and LA Tech Week on October 13, both part of Tech Week by a16z. The San Francisco session is scheduled for 10:00 AM PT at SPIN San Francisco, and the Los Angeles session will take place at 10:00 AM PT in Santa Monica, California.
