Microbot Medical signs 3-year Israel distribution deal with Medtechnica
Microbot Medical Inc. (NASDAQ: MBOT) has signed a three-year exclusive distribution agreement with Medtechnica Ltd. to market and sell its Liberty Endovascular Robotic System in Israel, according to a press release statement.
Microbot Medical received regulatory approval from the Israeli Ministry of Health's AMAR Division and was registered in the Israeli Medical Device Registry in May 2026. The company said it anticipates initial orders from Medtechnica Ltd. during the fourth quarter of 2026.
Harel Gadot, CEO, President and Chairman of Microbot Medical, said the agreement is "an important milestone" and expressed expectations that hospitals and physicians in Israel will gain access to the Liberty System.

Ravit Kremer, CEO of Medtechnica Ltd., said the agreement "reflects Medtechnica's ongoing commitment to introducing innovative medical technologies that can support physicians, advance clinical practice and improve patient care."
The Liberty system is described as the only FDA-cleared, single-use, remotely operated robotic system for peripheral endovascular procedures. It is designed for vascular navigation while aiming to reduce radiation exposure and physical strain.
Medtechnica Ltd. is a medical device distributor operating in Israel's endovascular market. Microbot Medical is based in Hingham, Mass.
