Veea signs one-year smart community deal with La Estadia
Veea Inc. (NASDAQ: VEEA) has signed a one-year agreement with La Estadia Community, a residential development of 220 properties, to deploy its SecureConnect™ networking platform and Veea Vision™ AI video analytics solution across the community's infrastructure, according to a company statement.
Under the agreement, Veea will provide secure networking, centralized management, and cybersecurity capabilities through its SecureConnect platform. The Veea Vision solution will use edge-based AI processing to generate real-time video insights while reducing bandwidth consumption and cloud-based processing dependency.
"This deployment demonstrates how communities can modernize their infrastructure while improving security, operational visibility, and residents' quality of life," said Helder Antunes, Chief Revenue Officer of Veea.

Hector Silva, President of La Estadia Community, said the goal was smarter rather than more cameras, adding that the security team would receive real-time awareness instead of reviewing hours of footage.
The agreement represents the first phase of a potential broader relationship between Veea and the Forza Esmeralda Group, which manages La Estadia along with seven additional communities. The parties said they are evaluating expansion across those communities, as well as multi-year managed services agreements covering deployment, monitoring, maintenance, cybersecurity, and lifecycle management.
Any expansion is contingent on the initial deployment meeting its targeted objectives. Veea is headquartered in New York and was founded in 2014.
