Veeva DQS processes data for 1M+ subjects in 1,000+ studies
Veeva Systems (NYSE: VEEV) announced that its Veeva DQS (Data Quality System) has aggregated and cleaned data for more than 1 million subjects across more than 1,000 clinical studies, according to a company press release.
The system has generated more than 500,000 automated queries, which the company says has saved thousands of hours in data reconciliation for clinical sites and sponsors.
Ibrahim Kamstrup-Akkaoui, vice president at Novo, commented on the product's utility: "Veeva DQS can help us manage, format, clean, and prepare this data for submission more efficiently."

Veeva DQS automates data workflows and supports risk-based quality management by exchanging data with Veeva CTMS, alerting clinical operations teams to changes such as protocol deviations and enabling teams to track key risk indicators. The system also uses AI to classify study data and generate role-based workflows and reports.
Pavel Burmenko, lead of Veeva DQS strategy, said the platform is being used by sponsors and contract research organizations to automate data workflows across studies of varying sizes.
Veeva also noted that its recently announced Study Builder Agent configures Veeva EDC and Veeva DQS directly from a study protocol. The company will present details on these products at its R&D and Quality Summit on Oct. 20-21 in Boston, an event open exclusively to life sciences industry professionals.
