Ryder System, Inc. (NYSE: R) has opened two used commercial vehicle sales locations in northern New Jersey, relocating its Kearny facility to Newark and opening a new center in North Bergen.

The Newark facility, at 474 Wilson Avenue, provides access to the Port of Newark, Interstate 95, and Newark Liberty International Airport. The site also consolidates multiple Ryder fleet management services under one roof.

The North Bergen location, at 6214 Tonnelle Avenue along U.S. Route 1-9, is described by the company as its first used vehicle sales site south of the George Washington Bridge.

"Northern New Jersey is one of the most important transportation markets in North America, making it a natural fit to expand our used vehicle sales network," said Eric Upchurch, vice president of vehicle sales at Ryder.

Both locations support Ryder's Vehicle Assurance Program, which includes a free 60-day limited warranty available through year-end on eligible DOT Verified used vehicles, subject to terms and conditions.

According to a company press release, Ryder manages approximately 240,000 commercial vehicles, operates nearly 800 maintenance locations, and runs approximately 320 warehouses totaling more than 100 million square feet.
