EPAM Systems launches frontier AI service for enterprise workflows
EPAM Systems, Inc. (NYSE: EPAM) announced the launch of a new service offering targeting frontier AI model development, according to a press release dated Oct. 5, 2026.
The offering focuses on three areas: high-fidelity data generation, model evaluation, and the creation of custom reinforcement learning (RL) environments designed to simulate complex enterprise workflows. These environments are intended to allow developers to test multi-turn interactions, reasoning, and tool use before production deployment.
The service draws on EPAM's existing partnerships with Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, and Microsoft. The company said it has trained nearly 10,000 Claude-certified architects, more than 3,000 OpenAI-certified forward-deployed engineers, and more than 5,000 Gemini-certified specialists.

"As frontier AI shifts from general experimentation to complex enterprise workflows, the demand has fundamentally moved from raw compute to specialized domain intelligence," said Elaina Shekhter, Chief Strategy & Transformation Officer at EPAM.
A Gartner report from April 2026 cited in the release projected that by 2028, 99% of agent platform providers will offer simulation environments, compared with less than 25% in 2026.
