VisionWave outlines early-stage UAV and counter-UAS development plans
VisionWave Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: VWAV) outlined a series of autonomous aerial and counter-unmanned aircraft system (counter-UAS) development programs, none of which is in production, commercially available, or the subject of a customer order, according to a press release.
The West Hollywood, California-based company described six contemplated aerial programs under its TALON family, including platforms intended for tactical surveillance, aerial logistics, strike, payload release, and precision support. The company also listed D-FLY and counter-UAS concepts designed around autonomous interception.
VisionWave said the aerial systems are intended to interoperate with its STRATUM ground platforms and command architecture through a shared operating environment. The company stated it intends for ground and aerial assets to be managed through a single operator control architecture.

"We believe modern autonomous operations increasingly require ground vehicles, aerial platforms, sensors and counter-UAS systems to operate from the same intelligence picture," said Douglas Davis, Chief Executive Officer and Executive Chairman. "Our development strategy is focused on creating that interoperability from the outset."
The company said it has submitted proposals in response to U.S. Government counter-UAS solicitations, though no award has been made. VisionWave also disclosed it is in preliminary, non-binding discussions with a European defense ministry regarding a possible counter-UAS interceptor trial, with no agreement or terms reached.
The company cautioned that all described systems remain under development or exist only as concepts, have not generated revenue, and are subject to regulatory, export-authorization, and procurement requirements. VisionWave also noted in its forward-looking disclosures that there is substantial doubt regarding its ability to continue as a going concern, as described in its most recent periodic report.
