Blade and Aero resume NY-to-Florida jet service this November
Blade Urban Air Mobility, a Joby Aviation company, announced the return of its BLADEone seasonal jet service between the New York area and South Florida, operated in partnership with Aero, a Los Angeles-based private jet airline.
The service is scheduled to run from Nov. 19, 2026 through May 2, 2027. Flights will operate between Westchester County Airport (HPN) and either Palm Beach's President Donald J. Trump International Airport (DJT) or Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport (OPF).
Flights will be operated by USAC Airways 695, an Aero subsidiary, using a commercial jet retrofitted to carry 16 single passengers. The aircraft will be equipped with Starlink Wi-Fi, amenity kits, and dining and bar service. Passengers will use private terminal lounges rather than commercial airport terminals at each destination.
New York-area passengers may depart from Blade Lounge West in Manhattan by helicopter, landing at Westchester County Airport in approximately 10 minutes, or begin their journey directly at Blade's private terminal lounge at Westchester County Airport.

"BLADEone sits squarely in the white space between a $1,000 first class seat and a $25,000 private jet charter," said Rob Wiesenthal, founder and CEO of Blade.
Aero CEO Ben Klein noted the two companies previously collaborated on a Los Angeles-to-East Hampton service before expanding to the New York-to-Florida corridor.
According to the press release, Blade claims to have introduced the Enhanced Aviation category in 2015 with service between New York and Miami.
