Ensign Group acquires seven skilled nursing facilities in Colorado

The Ensign Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: ENSG) acquired the operations of seven skilled nursing facilities in Colorado, effective October 1, 2026, according to a press release from the company.

The acquired facilities include Delta Post Acute and Rehabilitation (80 beds) in Delta, La Villa Grande Care Center (96 beds) in Grand Junction, Milestone Health and Rehabilitation (190 beds) in Littleton, Monument Ridge Health and Rehabilitation (88 beds) in Grand Junction, Pendant Health and Rehabilitation (130 beds) in Lakewood, Skyline Ridge Health and Rehabilitation (85 skilled nursing beds and 47 independent living units) in Canon City, and Springs Village Care Center (91 beds) in Colorado Springs.

Each facility is operated by an Ensign affiliated operator under a long-term triple net lease.

On the same date, Ensign also acquired operations of eight facilities in Florida totaling 713 skilled nursing beds and 66 independent living units, as well as the real estate and operations of Englewood Heights Nursing and Rehabilitation, a 118-bed facility in Pensacola, Florida. The company also acquired operations of four facilities in Washington comprising 532 skilled nursing beds. Through its real estate subsidiary, Standard Bearer Healthcare REIT, Inc., Ensign acquired real estate assets of five additional facilities totaling 755 skilled nursing beds.

Following these transactions, Ensign's portfolio consists of 418 healthcare operations across 18 states, with subsidiaries owning 189 real estate assets.
