RBC Capital Reiterates Sector Perform Rating on Western Union Co. (WU)
RBC Capital analyst Daniel Perlin reiterated a Sector Perform rating and $8.00 price target on Western Union Co. (NYSE: WU).
The analyst comments "New estimates. Our new revenue/adj. operating income/EPS estimates for 3Q26 are $1.02B/$160M/$0.34 from $1.06B/$179M/$0.38 previously. For FY26, our new revenue/adj. operating income/EPS estimates are $4.05B/ $615M/$1.25 from $4.09B/$634M/$1.31. The biggest changes. For 3Q26, we are lowering our revenue and adj. operating income, but slightly offset by a lower interest expense. We also slightly lowered out adj. operating income margin in 4Q26. No change in Sector Perform rating or price target. While WU continues to make progress in its branded digital strategy and Intermex synergies, once closed, could prove conservative, we believe the uncertain macro backdrop will continue to weigh on the business and the shares. We are maintaining our $8 price target or ~6x our FY26 adj. EPS, in line with other similar slower growth peers."
