The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company (NASDAQ: GT) announced that Margaret V. Snyder, Vice President and Controller, resigned effective October 16, 2026, to pursue another opportunity. The company stated her departure is not related to its financial or operating results or to any disagreements over financial, operational, accounting, or reporting policies.

Goodyear named Stephen F. Shamrock as its Vice President and Controller, also effective October 16, 2026, in accordance with its succession plan. Shamrock, 54, will serve as the company's principal accounting officer.

Shamrock rejoined Goodyear on September 24, 2025, as Vice President and Assistant Controller. He previously worked in the company's finance department from April 2004 to September 2014.

Before rejoining Goodyear, Shamrock held several senior finance roles, including Vice President and Corporate Controller, Interim Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Accounting Officer at Nordson Corporation from March 2022 to July 2025. He also served as Vice President Finance, Chief Financial Officer, and Treasurer of Wyandot Snacks from April 2021 to March 2022, and as Vice President, Corporate Controller, and Interim Chief Financial Officer of Materion Corporation from September 2014 to April 2021.
