October 1, 2026 11:00 AM

Nexstar Media Group (NASDAQ: NXST) and DAZN have announced a partnership to broadcast 15 Indiana Pacers regular season games on Nexstar's local television stations and stream them for free on DAZN, according to a joint statement from the companies.

Each game will be simulcast on local over-the-air television and streamed at no cost on DAZN. The first broadcast is scheduled for Oct. 23, when the Pacers face the Dallas Mavericks at 7:00 p.m.

Nexstar-owned WTTV-TV (CBS) and WXIN-TV (FOX) in Indianapolis will serve as the primary television home for the 15 games. The games will also air on WTVW-TV (CW) in Evansville and WCIX-TV (MyNet) in Champaign, Illinois. Nexstar said it plans to add stations in parts of Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, and Kentucky, with further details to be announced.

The remaining Pacers games not covered under the agreement will be available on DAZN through a paid subscription. DAZN subscribers will also receive pregame and postgame coverage, highlights, and original programming.

"Serving local viewers is at the heart of everything we do, and this partnership combines the reach of local television with the convenience of streaming, making Pacers basketball accessible wherever and however fans choose to watch," said Matthew Rosenfeld, Executive Vice President of Nexstar's broadcasting division.

DAZN Group CEO Shay Segev said the deal gives local fans "greater choice and access, by making 15 of the team's games free-to-view."

The 15-game schedule runs from Oct. 23 through Apr. 9, covering matchups against teams including Philadelphia, Chicago, Toronto, and San Antonio, among others.
