October 1, 2026 9:27 AM

Dingdong (Cayman) Limited (NYSE: DDL) announced a change to its board of directors, with independent director Ed Chan Yiu Cheong resigning and Le Yu appointed as his replacement, according to a company statement.

Chan's resignation took effect September 30, 2026, citing personal reasons. The company said the departure was not related to any dispute or disagreement with the company, its board, or its operations.

Le Yu was appointed as an independent director effective October 1, 2026, succeeding Chan in his board roles and committee responsibilities. Yu previously held several positions at Dingdong, including director, Chief Strategy Officer, and Vice President and General Counsel, until September 2023.

Before her earlier tenure at Dingdong, Yu served as General Counsel at Shanghai Yaya Information Technology from April 2015 to September 2016, and as a legal manager at Hongda Communications Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of HTC Corporation in China, from 2012 to 2014. From 2002 to 2012, she served as legal counsel at German Standard.

Yu holds a bachelor of laws in economic law from Tongji University and a master's degree in economic law from Renmin University.

The board determined that Yu meets the independence requirements of the New York Stock Exchange and the additional independence requirements for audit committee members under Rule 10A-3 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.
