Keurig Dr Pepper Inc. (NASDAQ: KDP) has named Russ Torres as Chief Executive Officer of the planned Global Coffee Co., according to a company statement. Torres, currently President and Chief Operating Officer of Kimberly-Clark Corporation (NYSE: KMB), is set to join KDP on November 3, 2026.

Torres will lead KDP's Coffee Operating Unit ahead of its planned separation, targeted for early 2027, during which he will oversee the integration of KDP's and JDE Peet's coffee operations. He will report to KDP CEO Tim Cofer, who is expected to become CEO of the separate Beverage Co. following the split. Torres will also join the future Global Coffee Co. Board of Directors upon separation.

At Kimberly-Clark, Torres oversaw operations in more than 30 countries. Earlier in his career, he held senior roles at Newell Brands, Bain & Company, and Mondelēz International. He holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Arts in Physics from Dartmouth College.

Upon separation, Global Coffee Co. is projected to generate approximately $16 billion in annual revenue, employ more than 25,000 people, and operate in over 100 markets. Its brand portfolio includes Keurig, Jacobs, Peet's, L'OR, and Green Mountain Coffee Roasters.

"Russ is a proven leader with extensive experience building consumer brands, guiding global organizations through complex change, and delivering consistent results with high performing teams," said Pamela Patsley, KDP Board Chairman, who is expected to serve as Chairman of the future Global Coffee Co. board.
