Danaher Corporation (NYSE: DHR) announced that Julie Sawyer Montgomery assumed the roles of President and Chief Executive Officer on Oct. 1, 2026, also joining the company's Board of Directors.

The leadership change was first announced on Aug. 3, 2026. Montgomery has been with Danaher since 2017, holding positions across commercial operations, research and development, and business leadership.

Former CEO Rainer Blair will remain with the company as a senior advisor through March 31, 2027 to support the transition.
