FreeCast reports 13% revenue rise and 42% ad revenue growth in fiscal 2026
FreeCast, Inc. (Nasdaq: CAST) reported fiscal year 2026 financial results, with total revenue of $0.71 million, up 13% from the prior year, and advertising revenue rising 42% to $0.39 million, according to a press release from the company.
Gross margin expanded to 82% from 45% in fiscal 2025. The company's fourth quarter generated approximately $360,000 in revenue, the highest of the four quarters. Operating cash burn fell 19% to $10.0 million, and operating expenses declined 6%.
The company reported a net loss of $13.0 million for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2026. FreeCast filed its first Annual Report on Form 10-K with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on September 28, 2026.
FreeCast closed a private placement in July 2026, generating approximately $23.7 million in gross proceeds and $22.3 million in net proceeds, of which approximately $14.0 million was received after June 30, 2026. Management stated that the July financing alleviates substantial doubt about the company's ability to continue as a going concern for at least one year from the issuance of the financial statements. The auditor's report for fiscal 2026 contained no going-concern paragraph, compared with one in fiscal 2025.

As of June 2026, FreeCast reported 25 distribution partners with a potential reach of approximately 31.2 million users and a 14-partner pipeline. The company noted that potential customer reach does not represent registered or active users, and partner audiences may overlap.
Commercial agreements announced during fiscal 2026 included partnerships with Assist Wireless, enTouch Wireless, FPUAnet, and fiber provider WIRE3, as well as a reseller agreement for Starlink Business services and a streaming service launch across more than 25 Caribbean countries and territories.
After the fiscal year ended, the company acquired Investor News Channel, targeting a relaunch as a global free ad-supported streaming television network in November 2026, and announced agreements to distribute 28 Brazilian channels beginning in fall 2026.
