Yext agrees to acquire Flamel.ai to expand into paid media

September 30, 2026 4:05 PM

Yext, Inc. (NYSE: YEXT) has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Flamel.ai, a marketing platform that helps multi-location brands run localized paid advertising campaigns across Google, Meta, and ChatGPT.

The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of Yext's fiscal year 2027, which ends January 31, 2027, subject to customary closing conditions. Yext plans to fund the acquisition with cash on hand. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Flamel.ai is designed for brands operating hundreds or thousands of locations. Its platform allows brand teams to configure campaigns once, which are then adapted to individual local markets, with reporting available at the location level.

According to the announcement, made at Yext's customer conference called Envision, the acquisition is intended to connect Flamel.ai's ad-targeting models with Yext's Scout product, which measures how brand locations appear in local and AI-driven search results relative to competitors. Yext said the integration would allow advertising spend to be directed toward locations where competitors hold an advantage.

"Every marketer knows the frustration of paying for a click they would have earned anyway," said Michael Walrath, chairman and CEO of Yext. "Scout already sees where each location is winning and where it's losing to competitors. Bringing paid media execution into Yext lets marketers spend where it changes the outcome, not where they're already ahead."

Paul Ehlinger, founder and CEO of Flamel.ai, said in a statement: "Combining that visibility with our execution means brands can finally invest where it actually moves the results."

Yext said paid media would join search, listings, reviews, webpages, and social as channels available within its platform.
