MasterCraft unveils 2027 boat lineup with new AutoLaunch tech

September 30, 2026 11:00 AM

MasterCraft Boat Company, a subsidiary of MasterCraft Boat Holdings (NASDAQ: MCFT), has announced its 2027 model year lineup, spanning the NXT, XT, X and XStar model families, with a range of new features and updates across technology, storage and design.

A key addition to the 2027 lineup is Progressive AutoLaunch, available on XStar and X models. The system automatically manages trim tabs and ballast distribution during acceleration to help the boat reach plane faster while reducing bow rise. MasterCraft claims the technology is the first of its kind in the towboat segment.

A built-in inflator is now available across the entire lineup, providing onboard inflation for tubes, paddleboards and other inflatables. XStar and X models also receive updated helm software that includes a reverse-camera overlay, an improved rudder-position display and a clearer Forward-Neutral-Reverse indicator.

The SoundStage audio system on XStar, X and XT models gains automated zone adjustments that respond to Drive, Tow and Surf modes, with speaker volumes adapting based on how the boat is being operated.

NXT models receive a redesigned helm featuring a seven-inch touchscreen, backlit custom panels, a dedicated volume knob, standard wireless phone charging and keyless ignition. Optional stern thrusters are also now available for the NXT family. Storage and lighting updates on NXT include RGB cupholders and 11 controllable lighting zones.

For 2027, MasterCraft expands color and finish options across all models, adding tower and accent colors such as Torch Red and Cypress, along with new gelcoat finishes including Torch Red Flake, Starlight White Flake and Rosé Flake.

"Our 2027 lineup reflects that approach, bringing together smarter technology, thoughtful convenience upgrades and greater personalization to help owners spend less time thinking about the boat and more time enjoying the water," said Greg Miller, MasterCraft's Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Commercial Operations.
