Ondas launches long-range counter-drone system for Naval Research
Ondas Inc. (Nasdaq: ONDS) announced the launch of Dronebuster REACH, a long-range variant of its Dronebuster counter-unmanned aircraft system product line, according to a company press release dated September 30, 2026.
The first REACH unit is under contract for delivery to the Office of Naval Research following customer acceptance testing. The customer intends to use the system for counter-UAS research, evaluation, and testing activities.
REACH uses electronic attack techniques including command-and-control disruption, Global Navigation Satellite System denial, and optional Positioning, Navigation and Timing electronic attack. The system is designed to engage targets at greater range and higher power than the existing handheld Dronebuster units.

The product is designed to operate within a layered architecture, pairing with Ondas' Detect, Track, Identify systems and integrating with the company's DefenseOS command-and-control software. The architecture also supports handoff to kinetic interception when non-kinetic measures are not sufficient.
"By the time a drone is inside handheld range, they have already lost time they cannot get back," said Ryan Hartman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Ondas Sentinel. "REACH pushes the engagement out, gives them room to make a decision, and does it with a system our customers already know how to use."
Ondas states that more than 3,000 Dronebuster units have been delivered worldwide across more than 50 countries. The company describes the existing handheld Dronebuster as the only American-made handheld system of its type.
