ICE launches pricing service for residential whole loans
Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (NYSE: ICE) has launched a Residential Whole Loan Evaluations service, extending its evaluated pricing process to individual, unsecuritized mortgage loans, according to a company statement.
The service covers qualified mortgage loans, non-qualified mortgage loans, and specialty collateral. Pricing is model-driven and overseen by a group of evaluators. Evaluations can be calculated at a daily or monthly frequency and delivered via the ICE Data API.
The service draws on several ICE data sources, including the ICE AFT Prepayment and Credit Model for projected prepayments, defaults, and delinquencies; the ICE Home Price Index, which covers micro-level home price data across 28,000 zip codes; and ICE Origination Data, which aggregates anonymized information with daily updates from more than 3,000 contributing lenders.

"For years ICE has delivered comprehensive and transparent evaluated pricing for a broad range of financial instruments," said Varun Pawar, Chief Product Officer, Data Services at ICE. "Bringing this service to the residential whole loans space provides our customers with one pricing source across different loans."
ICE currently provides fixed income evaluations on approximately three million instruments and offers reference data across global markets. The company states that $2 trillion in assets under management are benchmarked to its indices.
In the U.S., fixed income evaluations are provided through ICE Data Pricing & Reference Data, LLC, a registered investment adviser with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
