September 30, 2026 8:32 AM

Playboy, Inc. (NASDAQ: PLBY) has appointed Amanda Alborano as Art Director and Andrew Phillips as Director of Audience, according to a company statement. Both will report to chief brand officer and editor-in-chief Phillip Picardi.

Alborano joins from advertising agency Wieden+Kennedy, where she worked on campaigns for clients including Google, Michelob Ultra, and McDonald's. Her background spans branding, design, photography, publishing, and experiential work for clients such as A24, New Balance, Nike, and GMC. She also has editorial experience at Teen Vogue.

Phillips previously served as Director of Social Media at CELSIUS Energy Drink, where he helped build the company's social media presence. He has also held roles at Evolution Nutrition, Global Wealth Management, and Tandem Interactive.

"As we build this next era, Andrew and Amanda bring two very different but equally important skill sets," said David Miller, President of Media and Brand at Playboy. "Together, they will help us reimagine how Playboy shows up across every platform and experience."

Playboy said the hires are part of its expansion into media, licensing, experiential, and entertainment beyond its publishing origins. The company's print magazine has recently featured celebrities including Karol G, Cara Delevingne, and Charli XCX on its covers.
