Tenon Medical launches SImmetry+ SI joint fusion screw commercially
Tenon Medical, Inc. (NASDAQ: TNON) has announced the full commercial launch of its titanium 3D-printed lateral screw as part of the SImmetry+ SI Joint Fusion System, following the completion of a limited Alpha launch.
According to a company statement, the Alpha launch — which involved existing SImmetry users and new physicians — generated approximately $1.2 million in preliminary, unaudited incremental revenue from late Q4 2025 through Q3 2026.
Tenon said it plans to expand its instrument set inventory to support anticipated demand. The company also added two implant sizes to the SImmetry+ portfolio in response to feedback from Alpha users and newly trained surgeons, broadening the range of patient anatomies the system can address.
The SImmetry+ System offers lateral and posterior oblique surgical approaches to the sacroiliac joint. Tenon also markets the Catamaran SI Joint Fusion System, which uses an inferior-posterior approach. The company states it is the only provider it is aware of offering multiple SI joint fusion approaches tailored to physician preference.

Steven M. Foster, President and CEO of Tenon Medical, said the Alpha launch results "support the strategic rationale behind our acquisition of SImmetry+ in August 2025," referring to the company's purchase of substantially all assets of SiVantage, Inc. and SIMPL Medical, LLC.
Ali Araghi, D.O., an orthopedic spine surgeon at The CORE Institute in Phoenix, Arizona, described the system's instrumentation and implants as "very effective and simple to use" during the Alpha cases.
Tenon said the SImmetry+ screw is the first in a planned series of product launches it expects over coming quarters. The company referenced two clinical studies — the MAINSAIL and EVoluSIon trials — as supporting clinical evidence for its portfolio.
Tenon Medical was incorporated in Delaware in 2012 and is based in Los Gatos, California.
