Braze signs strategic collaboration agreement with AWS
Braze (Nasdaq: BRZE) has signed a strategic collaboration agreement (SCA) with Amazon Web Services (AWS), the company announced at its annual Forge customer conference in Las Vegas.
The agreement focuses on expanding generative AI capabilities and deepening industry-specific solutions. As part of the deal, Braze will integrate Amazon Bedrock into its BrazeAI Agent Console, an AI agent orchestration offering, giving brands additional options for building AI-powered customer engagement tools using AWS generative AI services.
The collaboration also extends Braze's global infrastructure footprint, building on recent availability in AWS Asia Pacific Regions covering Japan and South Korea. According to the press release, the Braze platform processed 25.8 trillion data points and 10.2 trillion API calls during calendar year 2025, averaging approximately 19 million API calls per minute while supporting more than 7.8 billion monthly active users.
Braze reported that customer procurement through AWS Marketplace grew more than 80% year-over-year in fiscal 2026, with the company recording its largest AWS Marketplace quarter and largest first half on record. Braze transacted more AWS Marketplace business in the first six months of fiscal 2026 than in all of fiscal 2025.

The SCA includes plans to develop customer engagement solutions across several verticals, including retail, media and entertainment, advertising and marketing technology, travel and hospitality, consumer packaged goods, and financial services. Braze holds AWS Competency designations in several of these sectors.
Bundesliga Media GmbH was cited in the announcement as an existing customer that expects to benefit from the closer integration between the two companies.
"By deepening our collaboration with AWS, we bring together Braze's customer engagement expertise with the AI capabilities on AWS in ways that make innovation easier to put into practice," said Ed McDonnell, Chief Revenue Officer at Braze.
Sean Cataldo, Director of NAMER Partner Sales at AWS, said the expanded relationship is aimed at helping customers "innovate faster and turn new capabilities into meaningful business outcomes."
