Anduril and Voyager Technologies form weapons development partnership

September 29, 2026 8:00 AM

Anduril Industries and Voyager Technologies (NYSE: VOYG) announced a strategic partnership to develop and produce technologies for U.S. weapon systems and missile defense, according to a company press release.

The two companies are already working together across multiple defense programs, with Voyager contracted to supply more than $60 million in technologies to Anduril. Those technologies include solid rocket motors, divert and attitude control systems, and other capabilities tied to some of the Department of Defense's stated priority initiatives.

The agreement formalizes the existing relationship and establishes a shared pipeline of additional programs. Both companies said manufacturing scale is a central focus of the partnership as programs advance toward long-term production.

Anduril founder Palmer Luckey said the partnership "lets us build on work we've already proven together" in support of national security programs. Voyager president Matt MagaƱa said the company has invested more than $500 million in propulsion, energetics, and manufacturing capacity.

Anduril is constructing a 1.18 million square-foot campus in Long Beach, California, expected to open in 2027. The company also operates production lines at its Arsenal-1 facility in Columbus, Ohio. Voyager's American Defense Complex in Pueblo, Colorado is being developed to support production rates of approximately 15,000 to 20,000 propulsion systems per month across its portfolio when fully scaled.

The companies noted that their operations in Southern California place engineering and development teams in proximity, intended to accelerate design, integration, and prototyping of advanced weapon systems.
