Cyngn wins follow-on tugger order from unnamed Fortune 100 manufacturer
Cyngn (NASDAQ: CYN) announced a follow-on order for its DriveMod Tugger from an existing Fortune 100 heavy equipment manufacturer, according to a company press release. The customer's name is being withheld for competitive reasons.
The new deployment will support the movement of components to a heavy-equipment assembly line, extending autonomous material handling into an additional production workflow at the same facility where the customer had previously adopted Cyngn's technology.
"For large manufacturers, repetitive material movement can create costs that extend beyond the labor required to move materials," said Lior Tal, CEO of Cyngn. "Automating these movements can help facilities reduce logistics costs, improve material flow, and free employees to focus on other responsibilities."

The DriveMod Tugger is capable of towing up to 12,000 pounds and is designed to operate in industrial environments without fixed guidance infrastructure such as magnetic tape or guide wires. The vehicle is currently available on the Motrec MT-160 Tugger platform.
