September 28, 2026 9:02 AM

Bath & Body Works introduced Essentials, a new body care line formulated for sensitive skin, available in U.S. and Canada stores and online as of Sept. 28, with a planned expansion to additional international markets in 2027. Select products are also available on Amazon.

The collection includes three product formats — Skin Replenishing Body Wash ($18.95), Ultra Hydrating Body Lotion ($18.95) and Eau de Parfum ($39.95) — each offered in three fragrances: Vanilla Silk, Cashmere Amber and Suede Blossoms. According to the company, all products are hypoallergenic and dermatologist-approved, based on review by a board-certified dermatologist.

The body wash is pH-balanced and formulated with glycerin. The lotion contains hyaluronic acid, shea butter and cocoa butter, and the company claims it provides 48 hours of continuous moisture.

"Essentials was created to provide gentle care for consumers with sensitive skin," said Kristie Lewis, executive vice president of merchandising at Bath & Body Works.

Bath & Body Works is partnering with board-certified dermatologist Dr. Michelle Henry in connection with the launch. "The new franchise from Bath & Body Works includes familiar body care ingredients such as glycerin, hyaluronic acid, shea butter and cocoa butter, with formulas developed and tested for sensitive skin," Dr. Henry said.

The press release did not disclose financial terms of the dermatologist partnership. Bath & Body Works operates more than 1,900 stores across the U.S. and Canada and 550-plus international locations.
