Ondas' Cyberhawk wins 3-year SSE electricity network deal

September 28, 2026 8:32 AM

Ondas Inc. (NASDAQ: ONDS) announced that its subsidiary Cyberhawk has secured a three-year agreement, with an option to extend for two additional years, with SSE plc's regulated network businesses, SSEN Transmission and SSEN Distribution, to provide drone inspection and surveying services across British electricity networks.

The agreement also includes an award for offshore wind turbine inspection under Lot 2 of the contract, expanding Cyberhawk's role into SSE's offshore renewable energy assets. Cyberhawk has supported SSE for more than ten years across thousands of kilometers of electricity infrastructure in mainland Britain.

Separately, Cyberhawk renewed a multi-year agreement with SSE for its iHawk as a Service platform, which aggregates imagery, geospatial data, and AI-assisted analytics to support infrastructure asset management and operational decision-making.

"We are extremely pleased to have secured this new agreement with SSE and to continue a relationship that has now spanned more than ten years," said Chris Fleming, CEO at Cyberhawk. "The fact that SSE has awarded Cyberhawk a third major long-term agreement, following two previous five-year agreements, is a strong testament to the value and trust we have built together."

SSE has stated plans to invest £33 billion in energy infrastructure by 2030. The new agreements cover onshore transmission and distribution networks, offshore wind inspection, and digital asset management services.
