Worthington Steel unit wins two Subaru supplier awards
Worthington Steel (NYSE: WS) announced that its tailor welded blanking joint venture, TWB Company, LLC, received two supplier awards from Subaru of Indiana Automotive: the Excellent Performance Award and the Commodity Leader Award.
TWB was among only eight suppliers recognized with multiple awards out of nearly 260 companies supporting Subaru of Indiana Automotive's operations. Subaru recognized a total of 24 suppliers across three award categories.
The Excellent Performance Award recognizes suppliers that meet Subaru of Indiana Automotive's targets for safety, quality, cost, and delivery. The Commodity Leader Award honors the top-performing supplier within its commodity category.

"These awards reflect the commitment our teams bring to serving our customers every day," said Geoff Gilmore, president and CEO of Worthington Steel.
"This recognition belongs to our employees," said Brad Ranly, president of TWB Company. "Their focus on our customers and the pride they take in their work are what make achievements like this possible."
TWB, formed in 1992, is a joint venture between Worthington Steel and BAOSteel, with Worthington Steel holding majority ownership and serving as managing partner. The company operates 11 locations across Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, Tennessee, Ontario, and Mexico.
