Perpetua Resources reports construction and drilling progress in Idaho
Perpetua Resources Corp. (Nasdaq: PPTA) provided an update on construction and exploration activities at its Stibnite Gold Project in central Idaho, according to a company statement dated Sept. 28, 2026.
Work on Burntlog Route, a year-round access road for the project, advanced through the summer with crews clearing dead timber from past wildfires and performing pioneer roadwork, including cutting and shaping the road surface.
Civil works at the Worker Housing Facility were completed in late August, with foundation installation underway to support kitchen, dining, recreation, and dormitory modules. Treated wood foundations and Triodetic metal foundations are being installed across the facility.
On the powerline front, the company said it is working with Idaho Power Co. to procure equipment, including substations and transformers. Power poles and related equipment have been delivered to laydown areas in Donnelly and Cascade, Idaho.

The company's exploration drilling program surpassed 10,000 meters in August and has been expanded, with drilling continuing at several targets including the Clark Tunnel Fault Zone, Fiddle, Scout, and Hangar Flats. At the Clark Tunnel Fault Zone, five holes totaling 1,900 meters were completed by the end of August. The company said tungsten mineralization, in the form of scheelite, has been observed in drill core at the zone. At the Fiddle target, eight holes totaling 2,400 meters were completed. At Scout, 15 holes totaling 2,300 meters were finished, with 21 planned for the season.
The company noted that any future development of exploration areas not currently approved for mining will require additional environmental review and permitting before mining could commence.
Perpetua said it plans to continue construction work through fall, including bridge deliveries for Burntlog Route and worker housing installation, while four drill rigs will remain active before scaling back for winter.
