Lumen Technologies to move stock listing from NYSE to Nasdaq
Lumen Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: LUMN) announced that its board of directors has approved the voluntary transfer of its common stock listing from the New York Stock Exchange to the Nasdaq Stock Market, with the move expected to take effect in early October.
According to a press release, the transfer also covers two notes issued by Lumen's wholly owned subsidiary, Qwest Corporation: the 6.500% Notes due 2051 (CTGG) and the 6.750% Notes due 2052 (CTHH). Lumen and Qwest Corporation have filed applications to list the securities on Nasdaq and plan to file a Form 25 with the Securities and Exchange Commission to effect the NYSE delisting.
The securities are expected to be delisted from the NYSE at the close of markets on Oct. 5, 2026, and listed on Nasdaq effective at the opening of trading on Oct. 6, 2026. Lumen's common stock is expected to continue trading under the ticker symbol "LUMN," while the Qwest Corporation notes will continue under "CTGG" and "CTHH."

CEO Kate Johnson attributed the decision to the company's strategic direction. "Nasdaq is the right home for this next chapter, reflecting the technology-focused business we are building and the ecosystem of customers, partners, and investors we serve," Johnson said.
The company stated the listing transfer is not expected to affect its operations, financial condition, or reporting obligations, and shareholders will not be required to take any action in connection with the transfer.
