EOG Resources names Jeff Hibbard as CFO as Ann Janssen retires
EOG Resources, Inc. (NYSE: EOG) announced that Ann D. Janssen will retire from the company, with Jeffrey W. Hibbard appointed to succeed her as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, effective January 1, 2027.
Janssen, who joined EOG through a predecessor company in 1995, has been with the organization for more than 30 years. She has held the CFO title since January 2024, previously serving as Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer. She will remain as an advisor during the transition period before formally retiring in 2027.
Hibbard joined EOG in August 2025 as Senior Vice President, Finance. Before that, he spent more than 20 years at Morgan Stanley in investment banking roles, most recently as a Managing Director in the firm's Global Energy Group.

"Jeff's deep understanding of the business, developed over two decades serving the oil and gas industry, combined with the same commitment to capital discipline that Ann instilled, makes him the right choice to guide EOG's financial strategy," said Ezra Y. Yacob, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
EOG Resources is an oil and natural gas exploration and production company with operations in the United States and Trinidad.
