Oracle Health and ID.me to integrate digital identity tools for patients
Oracle Health and ID.me announced a collaboration to integrate ID.me's digital identity verification capabilities into Oracle Health solutions, according to a press release issued Sept. 24, 2026, at the Oracle Health and Life Sciences Summit in Orlando, Fla.
The integration is designed to allow patients to verify their identity digitally before or during check-in and select which health records they wish to share, with the goal of reducing repetitive intake forms and streamlining registration workflows.
The collaboration also targets provider credentialing for electronic prescription of controlled substances (EPCS). ID.me's network includes nearly 5 million medical professionals, and its EPCS credentialing is already in use by more than 100,000 prescribers nationwide. That credentialing capability is now available to Oracle Health customers.

"Trusted, verified identity is the foundation that makes secure, interoperable data exchange possible," said Seema Verma, executive vice president and general manager of Oracle Health and Life Sciences. "By extending that foundation to patients and providers, we can help enable patients to exercise more control over the data they choose to share with providers and alleviate repetitive administrative tasks for staff and clinicians."
Wes Turbeville, senior vice president of federal and healthcare at ID.me, said the collaboration aims to "simplify the patient experience while also supporting high-assurance provider credentialing for controlled substances for interested health systems."
ID.me states it serves more than 175 million users across 22 federal agencies, 50 state government agencies, and more than 100 healthcare organizations. Oracle (NYSE: ORCL) offers cloud applications and infrastructure through Oracle Cloud.
