UiPath adds governance tools, Linux support, and data connectors
UiPath, Inc. (NYSE: PATH) announced a set of updates to the UiPath Platform, adding capabilities across governance, data access, system integration, and on-premises deployment, according to a company press release.
UiPath Coding Agents, first announced in May 2026, are now generally available. The feature allows teams to build and optimize automations using natural-language requests through supported agents, including Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, and Antigravity, without manual API configuration.
A new agent called UiPath Delegate is designed to handle administrative and role-specific tasks on behalf of users, including work related to software testing. It can save repeatable workflows from recorded sessions and run them on demand, on a schedule, or from defined triggers, while keeping human sign-off on final decisions.
UiPath Integration Service received four additions: Database Hub, which connects to systems such as SQL Server, Oracle, and Databricks without custom code; Relay, which links cloud automations to on-premises systems; Third-Party Credential Store, which allows use of existing enterprise credential stores; and an MCP Connector for calling tools from compatible MCP servers.

UiPath Data Fabric now provides governed, reusable data context for agents and workflows. A feature called Federated Entities enables zero-copy connectivity to external sources including Salesforce and SAP, with a full audit trail.
New governance controls include Model Hub for central visibility into model usage, a Runtime Checker that validates agent behavior against policies during execution, an LLM-as-Judge Guardrail for output evaluation, Compliance Packs for mapping regulatory standards, and Identity and Access Policies for controlling access to models and resources.
UiPath Automation Suite is now available on Linux, bringing the full platform stack to on-premises environments for organizations with regulatory, sovereignty, or security requirements.
"Our platform gives customers the map they need to chart the right course for agentic transformation, at the pace and context their enterprise requires," said Raghu Malpani, Chief Product and Technology Officer at UiPath.
