NeuroThera files 3 U.S. patents on LSD, ketamine, ibogaine combos
SciSparc Ltd. (NASDAQ: SPRC), through its subsidiary NeuroThera Labs Inc. (TSXV: NTLX), announced the publication of three U.S. patent applications covering novel combinations of LSD, ketamine, and ibogaine with N-acylethanolamines, including palmitoylethanolamide (PEA), as part of an ongoing collaboration with Clearmind Medicine Inc. (NASDAQ: CMND).
The applications cover potential therapeutic uses for mental health disorders including depression and post-traumatic stress disorder, as well as pain and substance use disorders.
The new filings follow a previously announced U.S. patent application from the same collaboration covering the combination of MDMA and N-acylethanolamines for potential treatment of PTSD, anxiety, and eating disorders.

NeuroThera and Clearmind stated they are continuing to advance their collaboration, with a focus on combining PEA with psychedelic-derived compounds while expanding the intellectual property portfolio supporting these programs.
SciSparc, through NeuroThera, also maintains separate drug development programs based on THC and non-psychoactive CBD, including SCI-110 for Tourette syndrome and Alzheimer's disease, and SCI-210 for autism spectrum disorder and status epilepticus.
