Greenland Mines applies to expand West Greenland mining footprint
Greenland Mines Ltd. (NASDAQ: GRML) has applied to more than double its mining footprint in West Greenland, according to a statement from the company. If approved, the expansion could convert an existing deposit into a broader rare earth district.
The company, which is focused on rare earth and critical mineral development, currently operates the Skaergaard Project in southeast Greenland and the Sarfartoq neodymium-praseodymium rare earths project in southwest Greenland. The application for expanded acreage in West Greenland is pending regulatory approval.
Greenland Mines described its broader strategy as building a multi-asset platform with exposure to rare earth magnet materials, precious metals, and midstream processing opportunities. The company has also outlined what it calls a North Atlantic Critical Metals Corridor, which it says would link Greenland resources with downstream industrial infrastructure in allied jurisdictions.

The announcement was distributed via MiningNewsWire, a communications platform operated by IBN (InvestorBrandNetwork).
