Sphere Entertainment and Disguise sign multi-year technology deal
Sphere Entertainment Co. (NYSE: SPHR) and visual technology company Disguise have announced a multi-year partnership to develop technologies for Sphere's immersive entertainment venue.
Disguise has supplied media servers and software to Sphere since the Las Vegas venue opened in 2023, supporting live residency productions and corporate events. The expanded agreement is aimed at accelerating video playback capabilities and preparing Sphere for what the companies describe as a next phase of global growth.
Under the agreement, Sphere will be the first partner to bring Disguise's next-generation technology to market, according to a joint statement from the companies.

Ryan Dolan, Executive Vice President and Head of Event & Interactive Technology at Sphere, said the partnership will support "future iterations of immersive productions" and the company's "long-term vision of offering these experiences to audiences in new Sphere venues around the world."
Fernando Küfer, CEO of Disguise, said the companies will focus on "the expansion of Sphere's video offerings around Disguise's technology."
Sphere Entertainment has announced plans for additional venues in Abu Dhabi and National Harbor, beyond the existing Las Vegas location.
